The context of ideas and philosophy of the studio is based on a holistic approach towards design and construction merging vintage techniques with modern gestures. Its aim is to produce a bespoken narrative on every project and site while keeping a tailor-made spectrum of services. The perception of the practice is that every project is a combined endeavour of many skilled professionals like engineers, material experts, interior designers, graphic designers in a functional and aesthetic synthesis with the site and thebroader vision.

This project of 21 high-end apartments is situated on a steep slope at the outskirts of the community of Peseux and is composed of two anisometric volumes which offer an amphitheatrical view at the lake of Neuchatel while based on top of a 2 storey parking.
The parking comprises 32 lots and the communication between the two storeys is being done by a car elevator. The plot’s only access combined with the inclination of the ground dictates a challenging design program.
A careful choise of materials, colors, designed vegetation and shading elements aims to give various spacial qualities on a human scale despite the project’s large extents. The interior includes custom designed equipment after an agreement with the clients.
The hotel is formed as a series of architectural volumes that bridge the gaps between the neighbouring buildings while it respectfully follows the site’s terrain.
The main building, that hosts the majority of communal activities, is taking shape on the north of the site while a series of 4 stepping volumeswhich host accommodation spacesis formed on the north east side and creates a sense of privacy.
A central single-story volume also with accommodation spaces is enjoying the unobstructed views towards the sea and the gulf. The use of pitched roofs responds to the broader architectural language of the area.
A herbal Mediterranean garden fills the area between the architectural volumes while private terraces with pools are designated to each unit. A central exterior promenade with staircases celebrates this ascent through the garden and distributes the circulation between the different volume leading to the Atrium at the north of the building, and the main north entrance.
The articulation of the architectural volumes is enhanced with sliding shading panels that enhance the façade animation while they help with the temperature regulation within each room.
This plot situated on a light slope next to the village of Nods and under the mountain range of Jura was intended for the creation of a residential complex next to the cities of Bern and Fribourg.
The design of the complex aimed to create both private and common gardens while also integrate large parking areas and comfortable terraces that overlook the Bernese Alps on the South.
Partial Renovation of an orthodontic clinic in Yverdon les-Bains
This space makes part of a larger clinic and was previously divided into two separate rooms.
The exterior envelope of this space partially constructed by glass bricks was not to be transformed as any work outside the given space would intervene in the rest of the clinic that would continue to run.
The aim here was to design a unified space that could combine an office, a meeting area, and finally lockers for the clinic’s personnel.
The challenges of this project situated in the coastal empty plot next to the music hall of Thessaloniki were divided in three parts.
First how to integrate the once blocked coastal front into the urban grid. Second how to create open interior spaces with mirrored sea view and third to keep on a strict visitor’s path dictated by the museum’s exhibition program.
The new museum is designed to lift its main core while creating a passage that leads to an amphitheatrical frontier of overlapped platforms.
The interior space is divided into entities that follow the coastline and thus provide an uncut sea view.
This experimental study of ideas regarding the merge of design biology and architecture was intended to explore the limits and possibilities of these three sectors in an urban environment.
The goal was to create a basic module that can be connected into assemblies and transform at the same time by reacting to environmental stimuli. Each module is comprised of an algae bioreactor that has a rotating axis. The assemblies of these modules follow the sunlight during the day thus aiding the algae production. Algae’s bulk then is concentrated and processed into biofuel that can be used for the production of electricity that moves the reactors and is given to the public network.
